EXAMS
Exams are looming ever closer.
9 DAYS! 9 DAYS!
Which means there are only 5 official lesson days left.
This is a real internal conflict because on one hand i can't wait for exams to be over but on the other hand i can't bear to graduate.
Yes, this is how the peter-pan syndrome manifests itself.
And its also because i love my school....
It is actually like a bubble. A safe environment for you to learn and grow. I will honestly say that i've had grouses and complaints and bouts of misery and laments about the PTful life we have, but in the end, when the time for me to leave draws nearer, i think i love it more than i've ever got mad at it. really. despite chemicar :( and SS PTs and the occasional evil senior in the past and finding bugs in the canteen food and physics teachers whose mission in life seems to be putting people to sleep *coughtppcough*
I think i should enjoy it while it lasts. I have no idea what RJ will be like, but that's in the future so i will let it worry about itself for now.
I expect this whole Leaving-School blues thing will get worse at the end of the year.
As trite as it sounds, you only know what you've got till it's gone, so why not do this instead: if you've been anti-establishment and hating school the last four years, give it a go and love the school for this last few weeks and options period. (:
Before going to great world for lunch today, the last time i had left the house was tuesday for school national day celebrations. It was a really strange feeling to walk around and see strangers after barricading yourself in your room for days.
Oh and i must say national day celebrations were quite eventful. Sec 1s and 2s were a bit appalling so i shan't go into detail. But i think they should be commended for the effort though. Heh.
Then sec 3s were pretty cool. Last year's ND dance doesn't feel so long ago.
Then finally it was the sec 4 fashion parade thing. And hurrah 403 won again (:
403 ROCKS
I didn't really expect our costume to be picked because there were many other beautiful ones... but i dont know it just happened. So, we've won last year's ND Dance, the Book Day thing (WONKA!!), the RHD song and the ND fashion parade.
If we train for netball carn, maybe we'll stand a chance??? hahaha
So as i was saying, i went to great world and at the bookshop i saw lots of lovely lovely books. Now i have a motivation to study real hard for exams. Because after the exams i can live it up with all the beautiful literature out there waiting for me.
1) Trainspotting!
Last year shan did a parody on the famous choose this choose that quote so i went to find out more about trainspotting and i discovered that the movie is a book adaptation. So i wanna read the book first! But then i need someone to teach me how to read a scottish accent because that is how the book is written in some parts
2)All the adrian mole books!
