on the brink of school

Ah well its the end of another month of June hols again.
I guess i haven't been here in a long time. More than a month to be exact.
Honestly it really is sort of cos some people just take the fun out of things and i really didnt want to blog anymore but i will save that rant for another time because today i want to talk about happy things (: WHEE

This past month of holidays have passed really really fast, (like always), but still its a long time because lots of things have happend. I will try my best to condense everything so it doesn't run as long as my accumulated shopping receipts from this past month.

COLORADO (:

Colorado was an absolute blast. I had a fantastic time and i think everyone else did too.
CMPS is finally over. Well the competition is, but it's the start of something new now, where i'm going to continue fighting for the cause, and maybe i'll join TWC2.

We started with a homestay in Fort Collins with the Hoffmans. It was me and hannah staying with Mr and mrs hoffman and their 2 children Ana and Kate, and we had such a good time going around to the schools, the public pool, the mountains, the shopping malls and stuff. Was a real cool exprience to know what living in an American family is like. And i found out how cool Hannah is too hhahaha. One night we stayed up for a bit, me doing CMPS and hannah making our thank you cards for the host family, and we did silly stuff like laugh at our own jokes and hear hannah calling herself a bobohead. that was so cute i laugh everytime i think about it.

We moved to Ingersoll Hall at the Colorado State University for the FPS international conference after that. We got those scanner things for the doors and a meal card for our free food too. It was really cool. We got spaghetti, fries, hotdogs, burgers, corndogs, all the types of cereal and drinks you can imagine. It was all you can eat and more. Mostly unhealthy; processed american food though. Haha. The rooms were kind of spartan (we got non-fitted sheets!!! argh)
but still nice and cosy after we made the beds and tucked in.
There were tons of people there, from most of the states in the US. some people from other countries too. no uk and europe though... hmm.. We got to exchange gifts and stuff so we've got stuff from all over US and other countries too. How cool is that???? (:
I got to share a dorm room with hannah again. Turns out we have the same shoe size too so she could wear my sparkly flats for her choir thing. And she doesn't laugh at me when i tell her im scared and dont want to turn the lights out, but i walk over that long span of dusty carpet and turn them off anyway. So in conclusion she is a fab roommate (: haha

We went on tour after the comp, and it was a really pretty trip to Colorado Springs and Denver. I took tons of pics over the whole trip so now i have more than 900. Talk about insane out of control shutterbug. =P

I really really miss colorado, and the hoffmans and hannah and my team and sabby who will go to norway soon and the other nice nice seniors. But at least ive got tons of pictures to relive the trip. hehe.

(If you've read till here you must be really bored. But i'm going to ramble on like nobody's business anyway. haha)

CHIALYNN

Boo. After i got back a few days later was chialynn's sendoff at the airport. She packed her 24kg overweight bags (woops) , ready to go (ohno) and she left on a jetplane for vietnam.
Lots of people went to see her off. I'm gonna miss you chialynn (: You are one amazing person and i think you mean a lot to lots of people. Don't ever forget that. By the way, i took your quiz today and i have the lowest marks so far. How sad. haha.

WORLD CUP

Whoo it's here after the long and arduous wait. After the last one ended i had withdrawal symptoms and i probably cried.. haha. And again, i'm for england and germany through and through. An important reality check though, one musn't go overboard during world cup season to the extent that it takes over your life, because even if you love your soccer team, they probably cant love you back. So dont neglect the real people who will, even with a bout of soccer fever.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN.

I <3. wheeee its coming soon.
JOHNNY DEPP RULES. oh yeah. oh yeah. oh yeah.

Okie enough for now. Back to work. Schools opening. Although if i had the power there'd be one more week of freedom all around.
