how does your garden grow

I've got a new template!
The archives dont work yet though.
I dont know what happened to my old alexis bledel one.
I really did love that one. Oh so much.
But i forgot to host the pic myself, so i think the whole thing just went wrong after the creator of the skin moved her link or something.

I decided to use this one, This Other Eden.
Which was the skin of the day yesterday on blogskins.com.
I think i'm a bit obsessed with nature now, after completing my nature photog. course today.
That was yesterday and today in school, 9-5 yesterday and 8-5 today.
Really long! But it was good.
Our coach was Mr John Arifin and he taught us a lot on both the theory and practical fronts.
Andd...for the first time i noticed all the nature we have in the school grounds. There are lots of beautiful things. Like ginger flowers, orchids and tiny frogs in the koi pond.
I think i'm starting to live out my goal to slow down and smell the roses this year.

I feel like i havent had time to breathe at all since the holidays started though.
After swim carn. on friday, went straight to Heart of a Fighter with Karen.

Then all of saturday was bells prac and then wheel get there.
By the way, wheel get there was really good!
It was like a sort of wheelchair amazing race, with 7 of us (me, michelle ng, joelle, sun peng, hanif, juan lu, bing ying), 2 facilitators (jonathan and bing wen) and mdm jaya, a real wheelchair-bound person.

I think i really know how to push a wheelchair properly now. I used to be afraid of banging into things.
And now i know what it's like to be on a wheelchair. Its almost a surreal feeling thinking back at it now, because you get a very different perspective and experience of travelling around Singapore.
This time, when i went on the mrt, i had to go up and down to and from the platform in the elevator, and then go through the wheelchair gantry thing. On the mrt, i had to brake the wheelchair or risk rolling away because of my best friend intertia. And the person pushing me told me that there were a lot of people staring, and even this guy who was staring at me with a sad face. Wheelchair-bound people really get stared at a lot. Its a bit uncomfortable.
I think once you've put yourself in someone else's shoes you understand them a lot better.

Sunday was church. In the evening samuel gave his first sermon. Its amazing what he can do at his age. He's younger than i am.. i think he's sec 3 in ri. Yeah. His message was really
good. It was about drifting away from God; the signs and how to avoid it.

Then monday and today was photography. I'm kinda happy with some of the photos.
Maybe i'll post them here soon. But i found that my camera can't really go beyond point and shoot. I can't go to sentosa with chialynn tomorrow :(

But, my mum's bringing me to the camera hospital to check out new cameras! Hurrah! I want a nikon D70! And my birthday is coming!
But still... i won't get that. It's too expensive at this level. I'll get something else that's good and has all the different camera modes, and macro plus supermacro. That'll be cool.
Then after that i think we can go to that nice shop with lots of clothes and bags and stuff.

I'm so exicted i have to go sleep now cos it's making me tired to be excited. haha.

But i'll listen to the radio a little while more. hustler's ambition is on now.

Just now Shan aired his Do Me A Favour segment, and it was on this girl cordelia who wanted to give him a wardrobe makeover cos she thinks he dresses like a poly student. Take that man.

Shan: We have entered the pink shirt zone.
