Midnight exactly!

HA! Cool. It's midnight exactly now.
The manu vs. mancity match today was sad...
Manu lost to man city 1-3. Aaaah.
And poor poor ronaldo. Something happened to him, but I don't know what, because i could only follow the progress of the match while listening to Sonja on 987fm. Wish i still had ESPN.
Some of the listeners are so cute. They message Sonja updates about the match, which is great for sad espn-less people like me. I think heidi fell asleep... haha.

And finally, finally. World cup is starting in June. I remember when it ended in 2002, i had withdrawal symptoms. But good thing there was PSLE so there was definitely something to concentrate on and divert my attentions from the world cup. All of us who really missed the world cup felt that 4 years was a really long time... and it really felt like it was taking forever for the world cup year to come round again. But now that the world cup is only 5 months away.. it wasn't really that long after all right? Ah i'm happy. Even better, it's being hosted by Germany this year! I'm going to support Germany and England again, like last time. And ronaldo. Because he's a wonderful cacaracha.

Did you also notice that the world cup comes in all the milestone examination years of the people born in 1990? First 2002: PSLE, then 2006: O Levels (Which is what i was sort of worried about, but now because of RP, it won't be O Levels but RP sec 4 exams. Don't be fooled by them not being called O Levels. They're equally important. If we flunk them we can't get to RJ. Aah!) 2010: Tertiary exams (Well for girls only i guess. Cos guys will have had NS.)

I've just had a big shock cos i heard my parents singing lao shu ai da mi. Which was really strange because... its just strange. I went to investigate in their room and it was because they were watching the new karaoke channel 1 on cable. Its the 3 day free trial period now! And i think i kind of like it. But its all in chinese. Wish there were english songs too. Like fifty-fifty. That would be a good mix. Maybe we'll subscribe. Its a good way to learn chinese! Especially to practice reading fan ti because of songs from taiwan. AND, this year we're taking higher chinese Os. Aaah. Haha. But i've got a really good teacher this year. I think if i really give it my best shot i've got a good chance. It's really about listening in class, doing all the work properly and reading... revising..speaking....listening... well everything you can possibly do, in your own time.

My parents are still going strong. I think they're loving the karaoke channel too.
Maybe we can guest-star on the fairly odd parents. Hey no sniggering i like that show!
