31st December 2005
That's the last date i am writing that ends with 2005.
And about 1 and a half hours ago was the last 2005 sunset.
This past year has been really eventful but still, its all flown by quite fast.
To end of this year with a bang, i decided to be a little bit more no holds barred today.
And this morning, the last morning of the year, my mum let me sleep to my hearts content.
So i woke up at 11.15. Normally i really dont like to wake up after 11 because i'll feel kind of terrible after that. But i felt kind of good today. Sort of enjoyed feeling like a lazy bum for a while. Haha. BUT i did sleep late last night.
Last night was the youth thanksgiving party. Had a really good time (: Must say that i was a good opportunity to reflect on how blessed we've been all our lives.
We went to centrepoint for lunch today and had fish & co. We've never done that before haha. I've only ever had dinner there. AHA even though it is the last day of 2005, there's still ample time for a lot more firsts. There's still 3 and a half hours left!
There was a mango and zara sale today. i dont think i've been to mango and zara on the same day before.. hmm so that can be a first too. Oh and i got the "6 pieces" tag when i went to zara today. First time i reached the limit for the number of pieces you can take into the fitting room! ((: Oh and first time i've ever brought 6 things into the fitting room. EVER
And i did something else unplanned today. I re-pierced my ears!
Our friend Joanne at the great world city goldheart did it for me. She's really good. She's done piercings more than a 100 times so go to her if you want to pierce your ears. You'll be in good hands. The goldheart chairs are really nice too so that's a bonus. Oh yeah you get nice grape candy and the goldheart water bottle too (:
I've been using this blogskin for more than a year now. I really didnt want to change it because i er, like it a lot. Yes. Even though its one of those default ones. I especially the dark green background. It's soothing on the eyes. BUT i decided that i shall change it today. Or sometime soon. Once i surgically detach my sentimentality from it. (Is there such a word???)
Listening to the 987 top 100 countdown. They're down to number 17 now. Linkin park with Numb. BEP were no. 19 and 18. yeah man. Really have no idea who no. 1 will be though. Let it be sunday morning by Maroon 5!
Ah.. numb has ended and mr lonely is next. The 987 top 100 is being hosted by the listeners this year, which is all good, but why do they let someone who says "aircon" instead of "Akon" go on air???
Later will be SHANsky and HUTCH from 10pm to usher in the new year. Hurrah.
