I love national day! I love Singapore!
Hurrah. This year's national day was fun. I think the parade was really cool. Saw it on TV at home, my favourite way to watch it apart from actually being there.
Go read the national day Shandler's List! It was really funny and quite clever too.
I think Singapore set a new record for the largest mass signing at marina south! I think it was more than 3000 people signing Uniquely You yesterday. My Dad was there (: They really worked hard and practiced a lot to get it right.
And 303 won the dance competition! yay! I think that made all of us really really happy.
With bixue and everyone else around, maybe we can win the costume design competition next year too! haha.
Most of this nice long weekend.. was however... spent doing cmps. Teachers are sending it in tomorrow. Michelle and I translated this entire 23 minute documentary's chinese commentary to english. The translating part was relatively easy..but getting all the chinese words down by listening took a really really long time. But its done anyhow! Michelles rock (: right michelle?
Oohhh yes. and i watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on Monday! More johnny depp!!
It was really funny. Especially the oopma loompas, and when all the spoiled children got their just desserts. Johnny Depp looked really strange as Wonka though. He appeared a lot more vulnerable in the movie as compared to the jolly, i dare to be different old man in the book. Ah well.
