i finally have my sound of white (:
Whoohoo! I finally got Missy Higgins' CD. The Sound of White is now mine. All mine!!!
I remember the first time i heard one of her songs was when Scar was playing on 98.7 FM. Back when it was still known as Perfect Ten. It is very seldom that a song makes you sit up and take notice isn't it? The moment i heard it i thought. Oh wow i love this song ((: I tried finding out what it was by typing some of the words i remembered in Google. It worked! cos i found out it was Scar by Missy Higgins. Now one of my most favourite songs (:
I realise that it was actually something more than a really nice song.
It always reminds me that it is alright not to follow what everyone else is doing if you know what you're doing is right. And it is perfectly fine not to fit in sometimes. Especially if its not like you hadn't tried. Sometimes there really is no point..
like a triangle trying to squeeze through a circle. You don't have to change yourself just to fit in. Really. God will still love you.
So if you need a little inspiration. A little
missy higgins can help.
To celebrate, to chase the blues away, to find something to sing along to, to help finish math...i realise that music has helped in a way. I think without music a part of me would be gone. 987 has done something cool. There is a new reason why its so hard to wake up in the morning. Haha.
